Healthy Marriage Initiative 

The Center for Community Excellence and Social Justice The Center for Community Excellence and Social Justice -  Healthy Marriage Initiative will serve to encourage, promote, and strengthen marriages among the African American population in the City and County of Denver. Taking a non-traditional approach to the problem of the significant number of births to unwed mothers within Denver's African American community, the CCESJ Healthy Marriage Initiative serves to educate Denver's African American population on the benefits of healthy marriages, promote and feature positive African American marriages, and provide counseling marriage mentoring, and marriage ceremonies for this underserved population.
